Building a More Inclusive Society, Together.

Land & Water Acknowledgment
Roots of Inclusion works and resides on the traditional land of the Coast Salish Peoples.  It is important that we understand the longstanding history that has brought us to reside on this land and acknowledge and honor the Indigenous Peoples past and present.  We honor their connection to the region and recognize their past and ongoing struggles with systemic oppression.  We commit to care for the land and center equity at the core of our work.

How We Do Our Work

Picture

Community Support

We provide information and resources relevant to parents, families and the community related to education, policy and programs.
Picture

Supporting Inclusion Initiatives

We are invested in state and local projects that support inclusive efforts both in education and in the community with a commitment to adaptive community leadership.
Picture

Policy Advocacy

We examine systems impacting children with disabilities and their families, we identify the systemic barriers to inclusive education and community access and work to inform local and state policy work to address removing those barriers to access.

Learn More about Our Work
We will listen, we will examine, and we will act.

Black Lives Matter.  We at Roots of Inclusion stand and act in solidarity to end systemic and institutionalized racism and to work for social justice.  We know that centering anti-racism is the only way to address the inequity and injustice that pervades our systems and ensure every person exists and thrives within the circle of human concern.
